The most historic evening in Taekwondo occurred on April 6th 2007
in East Rutherford, NJ. USA when Great Grandamster NAM TAE HI who
co-founded the OH DO KWAN with General Choi Hong Hi was inducted
into official Taekwondo Hall of Fame ¢ç. Grandmster Scott McNeely,
Executive Vice President of the World Taekwondo Alliance (WTA)
presented the induction plaque to Great Greandmaster NAM TAE HI.

Others inducted included Kim Bok Man, Rhee, Ki Ha, Cho Sang Min,
Chang Keun Choi, Kim Pyung Soo, Young II Kong, Jhoon Goo Rhee,
Dong Keun Park, Benny Rivera, Dr. Andy Mencia, Ramiro Guzman,
William Sullivan, Nia Abdallah,Mike Warren, Fred Absher, Jum Butin,
Albert, Cheeks, Arlene Limas, Allen R. Steen, Skipper Mullins,
Chuck Stepan, Mitchell Bobrow, Joe Corley and others.
This event was most historic in that it is the first time in history
that senior members and champions of the World Taekwondo
Federation (WTF) and International TaeKwon-do Federation (ITF)
were jointly honored. Many of the inductees have not seen each
other in more than thirty (35) years!
The Taekwondo Hall of Fame is seeking applicants from all countries
to serve as volunteer Technical Advisors. The Technical Advisors
would assist with future nomination recommendations and other matters.
